One of the most important decisions that any family makes is the school they choose for their young one’s education. At Kumaon Public School, we believe that we offer the perfect blend of teaching and learning that has been especially tailor-made to meet the needs of the young people of KPS and the ones who travel across the globe to study with us. The popularity of the school is not accidental; careful planning and programming, the selection of excellent staff and a willingness to innovate in educational provision have all contributed to the high level of academic success achieved by students at the school. Our school aims to give every student in our care the very best possible education in order to prepare them for life beyond school. We are a ‘Learning Community’ which encourages staff, students, alumni and parents to involve themselves fully in all aspects of school life and to identify themselves with its core values of Respect, Responsibility, Integrity, Cooperation and Achievement.

Our school is large enough to provide a broad and differentiated curriculum that caters for varied interests and abilities. KPS has a very strong and supportive School Council that ensures that the school continues to excel in everything we do. Additionally, we have structured our management team so that every level has an Assistant Principal, Year Coordinator and Careers Practitioner to case manage every individual student and assist them in their journey throughout their senior secondary schooling life and beyond. At the same time, our vision of education extends far beyond the classroom. We encourage our students to involve themselves in the broad co-curricular program we offer. Learning here takes place in many shapes and forms. Students have the opportunity to participate fully on the sporting field, theatre, in leadership activities, vocational education, training courses and debating platform.
